After a decade of designing and marketing assessment instruments, it has become
apparent to us that assessing problem behaviors, is a necessary step toward
changing destructive behavior patterns. Unfortunately, the assessment is,
generally, not followed by actions that enhance the probability of changed
behaviors in the individual.
National recidivism statistics provide irrefutable proof that historical
methods of dealing with destructive behaviors isn’t effective. During the last decade, our
Company has developed and marketed program elements that are effective when used
as designed. These program elements include:
- Effective assessment of problems.
- Appropriate recommendations.
- Individual Performance Contracts and/or Action Plans.
- Monitoring of individual activities and detailed Reporting.
- Continual Communication between client and clinician.
- Statistical and detailed summaries of all activities pertaining to the client.
- A complete, accurate and current profile of client information and activities.
- Clincian training to recognize changing client behaviors.
The foundation of this comprehensive program of improvement is Accountability. The responsibility
for behavior modification is shifted onto the client who is responsible for his or
her own behavior.
We believe that making the individual responsible for their decisions and accountable for the
results of their own actions is the surest way to individual improvement. |
